Each fall, New England's forests produce one of nature's most extraordinary displays. Chlorophyll retreats, revealing the carotenoids and anthocyanins that have been present all season—hidden pigments finally expressed in full color. Our foraging teams collect only what has naturally fallen, working across Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts to capture this fleeting window at its peak.
Every leaf in our collection is wild-harvested and hand-sorted for color, species, and structural quality. We source responsibly, taking less than 2% of available leaf litter and leaving the forest floor to do what nature intended—sheltering overwintering wildlife and building next year's topsoil.
